Second Chances?

We are all looking for that second chance.... for something: a job, a relationship, a marriage, the perfect summer, or just good 'ole fun.....what ever did not work out the first time around. Even when we run into an old flame, we sometimes hope for that second chance.

For me, my second chance to become an Assoc. Publisher of Marketing was once again put on the backburner.... no so much because of the economy and scramble in the media community for jobs, but when I learned that my Career Advisor lost her job today also... along with 3 other of my industry friends this week.

Will we all get our second chance?? Who knows?? As for me, I am going to take a second chance having a little fun in the Hamptons again this weekend and hope for the best. I have always loved "second hand" clothes, jewelry, and other items from the thrift shop. Second hand men? Well that's another story.......

Many thanks to those of you who asked that I continue blogging.

Now what? I asked myself "what do you do when life gives you lemons" and I thought --make lemonade".

Lemonade will be about positive, tangible solutions for everyday life. Each of us has faced change recently and continue to:

• Job or Financial status change - Save or spend? Is the market up or down?
• Lifestyle change - where to life, rent or buy, buy or sell?
• Relationship change - make-up or break up?
• And change in almost every area of our life

Lemonade will offer practical and ideas we can all implement and keep our sense of humor
